I had the joy of spending a fun afternoon visiting friends on their farm. My how their farm life has grown over the years. Over time, the farm has become a dedicated full time passion, with the addition of more horses and cattle. From the beginning, it all started with owning a horse for their daughter, as she had a strong interest in horseback riding. All these years later, she has grown into a beautiful young lady, who now performs at the rodeo, and competes in barrel racing.
Life on a farm can teach many life lessons, such as dedication, responsibility, character building, and a passionate love and respect for the land.
As I spent the day out there, I like to get on the back roads, catching photographic scenery. We ventured out on a tour in the ATV to search for scenic pictures. I encouraged my friend to take her camera along, and we are going to set out and compare what we see along the dirt road. I always say,” we can view the same picture, but can interpret what we see from different angles.”
Thank you Cook family for the laughter, farm tour, and enjoyable afternoon. What a beautiful home and farm setting, with a gorgeous view of the valley. A blessing everyday.
With thanks
