Abandoned Stories

When you come across an old abandoned home, farm, or an old business, have you ever wondered what it looked like in its day?  How the people lived, what did they look like.  I think when we see an old abandoned structure, it reveals to us how much history has withstood the test of time. They have weathered many storms, to the point they’re leaning so far, but still strong enough to remain standing.     We are left with a shell of walls to look at, and maybe create a story within ourselves.  These abandoned remnants are looking back at us, letting us come up to them, walk through their slanted door that‘s  barely hanging on the hinges, or open window.  Because just maybe,  they will reveal their story when we are welcomed to come inside.  They leave an appreciated feeling in our hearts.
